This morning is seemed as if the problems that had kept me awake most of the night would not get fixed At the moment I am writing the client side of a SOAP based web-service. Thankfully, just after lunchtime I remembered something from a few months ago when I was writing another web-service and as if by magic it worked! I worried my colleagues with my dancing, but hey! I was happy! There was no need for that straight-jacket
The evening class went well, we have started to read out our mid term assignments and I volunteered to go first. This was mainly so that my nerves did not have time to get up to full ‘jangle’ . I am feeling more comfortable reading my stuff out, my heart is not racing as much as it normally does when speaking in public.
My assignment was well received and I may continue to work on it and expand it for the final assignment. It needs a title for a start!
Mood : Up.
Music : Albert Hammond , It never rains in Southern California (But girl, don’t they warn ya. It pours man it pours.)

Congrats on your class!
Good to hear your confidence is building on the public speaking angle too!
I don’t know what SOAP is, though the acronym is familiar, but good job there too.
smooches of congratulatory nature~

thank you jEN.
See here for an intro to SOAP.

Hey Kev!
I’ll check out the SOAP link…
Read your story and liked it although I could’ve used more words yet to have me better distinguish the characters. I’m terrible at following ‘he said-she saids’ so it’s likely my inability to watch tennis that handicaps me! lol
I look forward to it!
Perhaps if you continue with it for your final assignment, (as you mentioned), I’ll get the extra dirt I’m looking for in the characters.
Please keep sharing!
smooches~

Hey Kev, when I try to read any comments left, the writing is extremely small. What, if anything, can I do to increase its size?
Congratulations on reading your piece tonight, I know how nerve-wracking that can be, especially to a class full of strangers. You did well. Not only reading, but also contributing to the others’ reviews. I hope you enjoyed the class tonight. There’s a lot to be learned from reading aloud, hearing how others recieve your work, hearing David’s learned opinion, listening to others discussing your work, and their own work. So nerve-wracking as it may be, it’s a rare opportunity, having a captive audience. I’m looking forward to seeing how your piece develops during the class.
Cheers,
Kevin
ps If you have some spare time available before next week, feel free to pay me a little visit over at Auntie Beeb’s Get Fighting site. Sorry, Get Writing. I’ve posted a short 700 word piece, which I intend to read in class next week. It’s in Short Fiction, and it’s called, The Alchemist.
Bye for now. Good luck with your writing!
Hi Kevin,
thank you for your comments.
The text is a little small, when I get time I need to fix the style sheet. In the mean time if you are using Explorer on Windows the you should be able to increase the text size by selecting largest or larger from Text Size on the View menu.

Problem sorted. Cheers! I did tell you I was no whizz kid. I’ll just tiptoe back to my seat in the corner now.
