because people throw rocks at him and Santa!
How low do you have to be to throw rocks at a bloke in a Santa Costume collecting for the Round Table!
Then again when I did the 10k run in the summer I was talking to a bloke in his late 60’s dress as a Centurion, plastic not metal accessories, collecting money for a Cancer Charity and he was saying that the year before he was running the half Marathon and a guy had tried to steal his collecting bucket!

I remember when I was the school mascot for my High School… I dressed in a grey furry bulldog suit and danced around mustering spirit from the event attendees. I loved it all with the exception of one game at a large rival school. I was cornered by a group of young teen boys who decided it would be fun to feel up the bulldog and ask if I was a boy or a girl under there… I was terrified and the school decided to not send our mascot there anymore. I still did the job, but I think I would’ve rather had rocks thrown at me!
Some people, (like those who accost mascots and throw rocks at Santa), should have their hands chopped off. Or better yet… put them in the caravans that Top Gear played Conkers with… before the cranes let loose.
I’ll find a picture of me with the mascot uniform. You’ll laugh! And you’ll wonder how that huge 1980’s hair ever fit inside the head of the costume! lol!

How deliciously medieval, however I think being stuck in a room with Top Gear’s Jeremy Clarkson for the rest of eternity would be a far more cruel and unusual punishment. It certainly would have me screaming and shouting to have my hands cut off and take part in caravan Conkers!
