It has been a long week with quite a few ups and downs. At the start of the week I had myself in a state with panic and worry and was basically tormenting myself in a worry spiral. Late Wednesday night Louise helped me form a strategy to deal with the worries and stop me getting in to a state. So far it has been working well, I am able to catch myself when I start worrying and stop. Also I have been able,to a certain extent, block out the internal debates that have been filling my head for the past week. So I am feeling a lot calmer and I am able to keep things in proper prospective.
The good news is that I have been able to keep my eating under control. Usually when I am stressed I comfort eat but I have been able to maintain my weight loss programme which had stalled a few weeks ago. I currently weigh 15st 1lb or 211lb or 95.7 kg.
The other week I was working on an update of myMooMus and had sent a copy to some people to beta test, after a few false starts I have a version which is stable but still needs a few tweaks. I hope to be able to work on it some more next week and get the new instructions written.
The other day I was contacted by an old school friend through Friends Reunited, first time in a while since someone has contacted me through it. Anyway you know who you are and if you have stopped by the blog then , hello!

Looks like we both had up n’ down weeks that have ended on a pretty good note.
The pounds aren’t melting away, but at least they’re not materialising either!
I’m trying to keep the snacky demon under control too as my moods fluctuate… I actually hung my bikini top on the refrigerator door as a blunt reminder that going into the ice box means ignoring the bathing suit! It’s working…
