I have started to move my new theme from xhtml/css mock up to WordPress template and it is going well. So far I have overcome all of the IE display problems without the use of any hideous hacks and it is still validating to XHTML 1.0 Strict and valid CSS.

Okay I have pulled the theme that I was using for the past few months. I got carried away with all the whizz-bang Ajax stuff and lost something.
I am working on my own Template/Theme and it may take a few weeks to complete but I think it will be worth it.
