Confession

It is time to confess something, 2007 was a very bad year for me as far as my weight was concerned. I am currently 16st and 3lb, 227lb or 102.965Kg. This is not good for me. My sleep is bad, my snoring is very bad and my health is not good. For the last few months I have had cold after cold with only a few days let up between each.

I have set up a Progress bar below my Flickr badge using the Progress Bar Widget My first target is to lose 10lb by the end of January, I will then set further targets. I will try and update the widget daily.

I will start tomorrow by getting out for a decent walk, I need to get some fresh air after days stuck in the house with the cold. I also need to make proper use of the weights and the breathing trainer that I bought last year.

My friend Neil currently has a good post “Blogging is about communicating and community” I will be doing my best to follow Neil’s good examples.

    Hey Kev, on weight loss I can highly recommend a liver friendly eating regime. It’s mainly for health but has the bonus of losing you a healthy 2-3 pounds a week, and you feel fantastic on it (I’ve done it a few times and have started it again this month to undo some 2007 bad habits).

    Happy New Year, Kev! Sounds like we’re both wanting to change things this year. I’ve been doing Weight Watchers and walking and lost 7.5kg during Nov/Dec, so I know I can do it. Good luck, hon, and if you ever need some encouragement let me know, ok? Take it slow and celebrate every little milestone. :wink:

    Hi Ruth, looks like you are doing well. I have been careful about what & how much I have been eating for the last week and have take off 3lb. The trick will be keeping it going when I get back to work.
