Sunday Christmas shopping in Edinburgh is going well. At the moment I am taking a break for a coffee & a sticky bun.
The choice of coffee shops & consessions is large, like most towns & cities in the UK I guess. I chose this one got the view across to Edinburgh Castle.
So far I think the only type of shop I have seen without a 3rd party coffee consession is a Coffee shop, but I have the feeling it won’t be long before you can walk into a Coffee Republic and it will have a Costa Coffee consession in the corner. I can even for see a regression where you can walk into a Starbucks, go to the Coffee Republic then to the Costa Coffee and ultimatly be presented with a cup, an old kettle and a jar of supermarket value instant coffee.
